There are over TEN million people living in Los Angeles County, and over 20% of them are young people under the age of 18. Our non-profit organization provides an opportunity for this influential demographic to engage in social networking, professional growth and community development through our art walk festival and planned art gallery.

The Compton Art Walk’s monthly festival offers a platform for artist and businesses of L.A. County to collaborate, network and showcase their talents and hard work while driving economic support to the City of Compton. The unique characteristics about the Compton Art Walk is the opportunity it gives participants of our programs to volunteer, participate and assist in every aspect of the festival from planning and marketing all the way to execution.

GOALS

Compton Art Walk's founding goal is to establish a historic platform through authentic experiences that provides former, present, and future residents the opportunity to support and show pride for their city's rich heritage of musical and artistic talent.

PROMOTE

our platform for emerging artists that showcases their unique and diverse talents in the digital age.

HARNESS

the energy and heritage of Compton to collaborate with artist and businesses throughout California and beyond to create new economic and social opportunities for residents of the city to enjoy.

RAISE

the awareness of Compton's creative community and motivate the next generation of artist to represent their city proudly and boldly.

IMPACT

culture, invoke change, and inspire all members, volunteers, partners, patrons and donors through inventive events, activities and youth and wellness programs.

FOUNDER

Over the years, I have encountered many people who often wondered about visiting Compton or who were just curious about the city's mystique. The Compton Art Walk will fill that void by putting a spotlight on the city's rich history of success while connecting this established past with it's bright and forthcoming future. Today is the perfect opportunity for all former and present Compton residents to help launch an initiative that is historic, inspiring and ultimately beneficial to all generations of Compton, California. I am a third generation product of Compton and I say that with pride. Please support the Compton Art Walk and help me uplift the Hub City through the arts.
