CHRISTI MCDANIEL

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Christi McDaniel is the Founder of two amazing companies. Raised by her grandparents and aunt, she is familiar with the hardships of not having the “perfect family” all too well. Despite always feeling like something was missing in her life, Christi concealed her feelings and wore a brave face to assure her younger sisters that eventually things would be fine for them.

The grace and hope Christi exudes to others fueled the fire to keep going on her own journey and literally building her own legacies. In March of 2013, she decided it was time to move forward with her vision, and Children Striving Together was established. Christi states, “Our youth need the guidance and support to know that with or without the perfect family, CST will make a way to bring something special and significant to each and every child's life.” Years later, she still stands on helping people and her community, so as of February of 2019, The Power Legacy was created.

Some of Christi’s skills include, but are not limited to, youth motivator, non-profit consultant, grant writing and sponsorship assistance, and non-profit management, just to name a few. Being a part of the Compton Art Walk family is something she is proud of and cannot wait to continue the work.
